When the Tour de France comes through your borough, it’s worth taking the day off work. Well, I thought so anyway!
Newham Cyclists will be having a small but hopefully visible presence outside the Black Lion pub in Plaistow which is on the race route. Â We’ll have our new pop-up banner and lots of leaflets and will be hoping to find a few people who are inspired to get on a bike once they see Chris Froome & co fly past in a blur…
If you are around, come and join us. It shouldn’t be a bad spot to watch the race from – the pub will be open and hopefully showing the tour, they serve food and the beer is good!
